Purpose

The remuneration committee has delegated responsibility for the remuneration and terms of service for the chief executive and executive directors of the Trust.  Its responsibility includes all aspects of salary, provision for other benefits including pensions, arrangements for termination of employment and other contractual terms. The nomination and selection of candidates for appointment as chief executive or executive director is undertaken separately by an appointment committee.

All the Trust's Non-executive Directors are members of this committee.
