Royal Primary Care is running a short - 11 week - project to help patients who live with chronic pain.

Martin Rothery is an experienced pain management therapist who is working with Dr Scriven and Royal Primary Care for the duration of the project.

Martin will see patients in a 20 minute appointment and suitable patients will be contacted initially by text message.

Chronic pain is a complex condition, and current thinking supports the idea that it is related to unconscious processing of signals or messages between the body and the brain.

Rapid pain elimination therapy is a safe and non-invasive approach to the management of chronic pain.

If you live with chronic pain (chronic back pain, arthritis or fibromyalgia for example) and are on any of the following medications: gabapentin, pregabalin, morphine patches or capsules you could well be eligible for a session with Martin.

If you have been approached please take advantage of the project and book an appointment with Martin, however, any patient of RPC who takes any of the above medications could qualify for a session.

The courses run until 10th April 2019, with clinics held at Clay Cross on Monday, Rectory Road on Tuesday and Grangewood on Wednesday. Funding has been provided by The Royal Hospital’s Charitable Funds.
