The Decontamination Unit services all theatre surgical instrumentation and provides sterile packs across the trust in addition to providing a service to the local community hospitals.
The department is accredited with ISO9001: 2000, EN ISO 13485 and MDD 93/42/EEC Directives. The department is audited twice a year and this contributes to the high standard of service provided.
