The Directorate provides comprehensive and up-to-date Dermatology services within a dedicated unit where, with exception of a few specialist services the majority of our patients are treated and followed up in house.
The department has several outpatient clinics, a dressings room/clinic, nurse led skin camouflage, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy and acne clinics, and patch testing. We have two dedicated day case theatres, where we also carry out minor operations throughout the week.
We currently have several Consultant Dermatologists and an accompaniment of other speciality Doctors, Skin Cancer Specialist Nurses and inflammatory Disease Specialist Nurse. The additional nursing team also includes a Matron, Sister, Staff Nurse's, departmental practitioners and Health Care Assistants.
