We welcome complaints, because we can only improve services for patients if we know when there are problems or issues - and if we can learn from the things that haven't gone well for patients and their families.

In most cases problems can be resolved quickly by speaking to the staff caring for you or your relative. On the ward you can ask to talk to the Ward Matron and in clinics ask to speak to the member of staff in charge on the day.  This usually sorts the issue out - if not on the spot, within a short space of time.

For more serious problems that staff haven't been able to resolve for you there's an official and formal complaints procedure - and we will try to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.
