Education Centre – The Education Centre is a purpose-built education facility, housing 10 meeting/training rooms, including 2 dedicated clinical training rooms, and the library: the old lecture theatre, located near Social Services, is also managed by the centre. Whilst the centre is mainly used for Trust events, rooms are also available for hire to external organisations. In addition to assisting in the running of the centre, the Education Centre administration team provides administrative support to a wide variety of training courses for all Trust staff to assist in the delivery of patient care. Library - The Library is located on the ground floor of the Education Centre and provides information services to the North Derbyshire healthcare community, the Universities of Derby and Nottingham and students on placement at the Trust.
The Library supports the learning, education, research, management and clinical activity of the Trust and its partners.
