NHS Organisations are required to ensure that the needs of all users are met. One aspect of this is the need to ensure that provision is made for patients with special communications needs e.g. who use sign language, or who do not speak English.

The Trust is committed to meeting the special needs of patients for whom there is an identified linguistic or sensory barrier to communication.
