You will be advised where to report at your pre-assessment appointment.
If you get a cough, cold or any other illness and are not sure whether you should come in, phone the admissions office or ward for advice.
If you have any questions or concerns write them down and bring them with you, to help remind you when you are in hospital.
A relative or friend can come with you to the hospital. They can stay with you while you are admitted. We recommend that if you are a day patient and having any form of sedation that you arrange for someone to take you home.
We hope your stay with us will be as comfortable as possible and will do everything we can to see that you have everything you need.
Mobile phones
The use of Mobile phones is not permitted on wards and in clinical areas.

Your meal service
You will be given breakfast, lunch and evening meals whilst staying on our wards. Your lunch and dinner will be 'protected' which means that all non-essential ward activity will stop to give you a more relaxed environment in which to enjoy your meal undisturbed.
The attached document will give you an idea of what the hospital serves for lunch and dinner and the reasons behind the choices on offer.
The Trust regularly checks the quality and content of the meals on offer.
Smoking
The hospital operates a No Smoking policy in the hospital grounds, gardens and car parks or any of the hospital buildings.
It is illegal to smoke in any enclosed areas where other members of the public may be affected, this includes the canopy in front of the main entrance and the bus stops.
