Eckington School Careers Event: February 2024

Staff from the Staff Development & Apprenticeship Team attended the very successful Careers Event at Eckington School on Tuesday, 27 February 2024. 

Approximately 1,400 local youngsters passed through the hall with a large number stopping by the stall, pictured, and were encouraged to take part in a simulation of an ‘appendix’ removal from one of the training dummies as well as  to find out more about work experience, apprenticeships, a career in the NHS and  what it’s like to work at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
