Telephone issues: Update on action
We know some patients find it difficult to reach us by phone during our busiest periods.
We've already funded a long-term solution, and work is now underway to improve capacity and reliability.
Over the coming months, we will be:
- Upgrading our telephone system
- Moving our contact centre system to the cloud
- Increasing the number of calls the system can handle at the same time
Work will take place during October and November 2026, and we expect to complete all improvements by January 2027.
We understand how frustrating this can be, and we appreciate your patience as we improve our telephone service.
