The Royal Rider is a free service run by our volunteers who take visitors to whichever area they require.
They can also collect visitors from the area they have visited.
They're there for patients and visitors with mobility issues, supported by Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charitable Funds.
The service runs from 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 2pm on weekends.
It's run entirely by our volunteers who give their time freely, doing an incredible job to support all of our services - we genuinely couldn't do it without them. If you need the Royal Rider then ask at the main entrance or call 07468 717352.
