CAMHS Logo.pngThe Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service​​​​​​​ (CAMHS) is a group of professionals from a variety of backgrounds, all skilled in working with children and young people with mental health issues. CAMHS teams are multi-disciplinary and contain a wide range of different professionals and skill mixes.

If you are a parent/carer and would like your child to access CAMHS, then please discuss this with your GP, child’s school or any other professional who is involved in supporting you. If they feel CAMHS would be suitable, they can then submit a referral.

You can call CAMHS reception on 01246 514412 for any sort of appointment queries, including changing an appointment.

Our Urgent Care team can help in cases of serious self-harm, active suicidal thoughts and behaviours, and acute mental health presentation and relapse. The contact number is 07901 330724, available 10am - 10pm, seven days a week.
