10YP_1x1_static.pngThis morning, the NHS 10-year Health plan was launched following a national consultation in which our colleagues and community were invited to talk about the NHS and how it could provide effective and safe care over the next decade.

We’d like to start by saying thank you to everyone who took the time to tell us that they thought about NHS Services and how they might look over the next decade.

You can read the report on the gov.uk website.

It is clear from the report that there are to be three major shifts and a move from:

  • Analogue to Digital
  • Sickness to Prevention
  • Hospital to Community

In this regard, the report is very much what we expected and what we at Chesterfield Royal have already been working towards through our transformation programmes and clinical pathways. You will hear more about some of these projects over the coming days.

We believe this report will allow us to harness the ‘A’ in our CARE values and shine a light on our Ambition for the community we serve and shine a spotlight on many of the things which we do so well here at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Thank you for your continued support and your feedback.
