Celebrating Mayoral Support for our Charity

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cllr Barry Dyke and Marie Dyke for choosing to support Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charity during their mayoral year and to everyone who contributed so generously.

We were honoured to receive an incredible £10,347.62, raised for both our Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charity and Poolsbrook Social Welfare Club.

Their fundraising efforts spanned more than 200 community engagements, including the Charity Abseil down Chesterfield Town Hall, bravely taken on by colleagues from across the Trust earlier this year!

Having had both personal and family experience of strokes, Cllr Barry Dyke selected us as one the beneficiaries of his Mayoral Charities. These funds will be donated directly to support the Eastwood Stroke Unit, helping us make a meaningful difference to patients, families and colleague wellbeing.
